About me

I am a fledgling surface pattern designer and illustrator based in Nottingham, England.

In the past I’ve worked as an artworker for a children’s book publisher and I’ve recently studied surface pattern design with the design school ‘Make it in Design’.

I take inspiration from everywhere: nature, gardens, pretty shops, magazines, trend reports, architecture and interiors. I have a large collection of scrapbooks full of inspiration spanning the past two decades.

So far I have designed posters for events, a book cover for 'The Church of Stuart Pearce and Other Stories' by Rich Fisher, custom party invitations, and logos and branding for local companies. I am currently taking time to experiment with different styles and techniques in order to develop my collection of patterns and to 'find my stye'.

I especially love working with clients on personal projects, such as images for websites or creating branding and logos for new businesses. I welcome commissions, freelance work, logo and branding opportunities and licensing collaborations.
